Chai Pani Ginger Chai Chai Pani Ginger Chai

Chai Pani Ginger Chai

Straight off the Chai Pani menu, the warming flavours of black tea, cut ginger, and whole cardamom make this Ginger Chai a soothing bevy that is comfort in a cup!

Meherwan Irani's chai inspo comes from the street-chai popular to his hometown of Maharashtra, India. Here, chai is often “cheffed up” by adding a variety of spices, like in Masala Chai. It’s more common, however, to find chai made with just cardamom or ginger. Chai Pani’s chai uses both—just enough of each to create a background of balanced flavours that allow notes of ginger and cardamom to shine through.

Ingredients

1 cup milk
1 cup water
A splash of Half & Half
1 tbs of Spicewalla Ginger Chai

  • Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Cathy! We understand the importance of an enjoyable cup of Chai, and definitely want to help you achieve the desired flavour you’re looking for! Listed below is another revised suggestion for our Chai preparation, which uses our Chai Masala blend instead – and can be combined with your decaf tea option:

1.) In a small pot, add ½ cup milk (or dairy-free alternative) and ½ cup water. Bring to a low simmer.
2.) Add Âź tsp Chai Masala and 1 tsp black tea leaves or one black tea bag. Simmer for another 3 minutes.
3.) Strain and sweeten to your liking with sugar or honey. Enjoy!

Thanks again, Cathy! Please reach out anytime for questions or spicy assistance via customercare@spicewallabrand.com – and we’ll look forward to connecting as soon as possible. :)
