Chilli Salt Charred Shishito Peppers

Chilli Salt Charred Shishito Peppers

We love an appetizer, and these fresh & vibrant little Japanese peppers are one of the best in the biz. We even love 'em as a snack! Pan-seared with Graza olive oil, then simply dressed in fresh lime juice and smoky Chilli Salt for an irresistible punch of flavour.

Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 2-3 servings

  • Ingredients

8 oz bag of shishito peppers
3 Tbsp Graza Sizzle olive oil
    Spicewalla Chilli Salt
    Lime, for garnish

    Preparation

    1. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat
    2. Add Graza olive oil once the pan is hot, and let the oil heat up for about 1 minute.
    3. Add the shishito peppers and cook undisturbed for about 3 minutes, flip the peppers over and cook for another 2-3 minutes until all peppers are evenly charred but not fully wilted.
    4. Place on a serving plate and season to your liking with Spicewalla Chilli Salt and fresh lime juice – we like a lot of both.
    5. Serve immediately and enjoy!
