Ingredients

2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
2 tsp kosher salt
2 ½ tsp Spicewalla Pumpkin Spice
1 ½ cups brown sugar
2 large eggs
½ cup Hi Wire Pumpkin Spicewalla Latte Imperial Stout (or your favorite stout)
½ cup vegetable oil

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F 
  2. In a mixing bowl combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and Spicewalla Pumpkin Spice. Whisk together and set aside. 
  3. In another mixing bowl, add the brown sugar and eggs. Whisk together thoroughly, then add the stout and oil, and whisk again until completely combined. 
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the mixing bowl with the wet ingredients and gently mix together until just combined. 
  5. Grease and flour a 9x5 loaf pan. Pour the batter into the pan and smooth the top to evenly distribute. 
  6. Bake for 60-75 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. 
  7. Cool completely and serve with butter.
