Berbere Bloody Mary

Ah, the Bloody Mary - the ultimate brunch beverage, hangover cure, glass of health that will make you happy as a clam. This zippy lil' tomatoey blend of flavorful, spicy ingredients will have you feeling recharged and full of life (and full of Vitamin C!) Our Berbere blend compliments the mix to perfection, and the Everything Bagel Seasoning rim is NOT to be missed! Even if you're a savory skeptic when it comes to cocktails, give this recipe a try! You just may become a bloody believer.

Ingredients

1 cup of vodka
2 cups tomato juice
2 Tbsp clam juice
1 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 Tbsp fresh lime juice
1 Tbsp fresh grated horseradish
1 tsp (or more!) Tabasco hot sauce
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Spicewalla Berbere
1/4 tsp celery salt
1/2 tsp Spicewalla coarse grind black pepper
4 celery stalks for serving
Spanish olives, pickled okra, lemon & lime wedges, Everything Bagel Seasoning on the rim for garnish

Preparation

1. Combine tomato juice, clam juice, lemon & lime juice, horseradish, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, Berbere, salt, black pepper, and celery salt in a pitcher or large mason jar and stir to combine. Taste and adjust seasonings to your preference!
2. Cover and chill for at least 8 hours or overnight.
3. Before serving, stir vodka into bloody mix and pour into tall glasses filled with ice.
4. Garnish with a celery stalk, olives, citrus wedges, pickles, cocktail shrimp, Everything Bagel Seasoning on the rim, etc.
